This year, the UBC Music Education Teacher Candidates of TIME cohort – Teacher Initiative for Music Educators (TIME) created a virtual ensemble (covid theme). Combining all their unique musical prowesses to create a covid edition performance of songs to celebrate their B. Ed. year in teacher education at UBC.
Despite the challenges of not being able to physically be together, these teacher candidates of 2020 arranged songs in styles Classical, Jazz, and Disney, and created this virtual ensemble as part of their performative inquiry project amidst the covid restrictions to say “we’re all in this together.”
