We are delighted to welcome a new tenure-track appointment to the Department. Dr. Lindsay Gibson comes to us as an Assistant Professor of Social Studies Education from the University of Alberta. His research focuses on various aspects of history and social studies education including curriculum design, assessment, historical thinking, historical consciousness, teacher education, inquiry, and difficult history. Dr. Gibson is a much welcome addition to the department.
