Abstract:
The seminar will provide a narrative of the process of formation, accomplishments and challenges of Think &Eat Green @ School, a SSHRC- supported community-university research alliance aiming at transforming the food system in Vancouver public schools and the way children learn about it. The seminar will also discuss principles of an ecology of knowledge and the pedagogy of the project guided by the goal of contributing to overcoming the fragmentation of knowledge and to sustainability education.
