Abstract:
Based on a study of the way adolescents, teachers, and peer sex educators negotiate the emotional context of sexual health education, this presentation explores free association as a framework for understanding the otherness of conscious thought and expression that shapes sexual self-formation, sex education conversations, and the psychic landscape through which we encounter others in the world.
