Join us on UBC’s beautiful campus for Social Studies Education professional development workshops on a wide range of pedagogical and curricular topics.

Workshop topics include:
- Teaching geography
- Doing historical inquiry
- Using aesthetic texts in social studies
- Teaching difficult histories and commemoration controversies
- Difficult knowledge, emotion, and affect in social studies education
- How Teacher Candidates can thrive during practicum, and how School Associates can support them
- Selecting effective learning resources in social studies
