FLIP Webinar Series #1 | ‘What is Food Literacy?’

‘What is Food Literacy?’

‘What is food literacy’ is the first in a series of webinars exploring food literacy education globally. Drs. Pamela Koch, Jennifer Sumner and Joyce Slater are three academics whose work is contributing to the food literacy as a growing area of study.

The first webinar was held on February 28th and had over 200 registrants from the Americas; Europe; Africa, the subcontinent, and the Asia Pacific and we have people who are working in dietetics, health promotion, policy development and education contexts. This suggests there is a wide interest in the topic and we hope that this Webinar series will provide a useful contribution to work being done around food literacy.

The next and second webinar in this series will be hosted by Deakin University, Melbourne Australia in June/July.
