You are invited to the annual EDCP Welcome Back Barbecue on Thursday, September 17th, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Venue is the garden at the west entrance of the Scarfe Building.
For catering purposes, please RSVP to nhi.dang@ubc.ca by September 4th, 2015 and note whether you would like the meat or vegetarian option.
This will be the second Welcome Back Barbecue since the death of Katharine Borgen. Katharine was a member of the Mathematics Education group who served with much energy and enthusiasm on the department’s social committee. Indeed, her contribution to the annual Welcome Back Barbecue in September was so central that the committee recommended that we give tribute to Katharine’s service by naming the Welcome Back Barbecue in her honour.
