Congratulations to Natalie LeBlanc

Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that Dr. Natalie LeBlanc (PhD, 2016) will be receiving the Arts Based Educational Research Award for Outstanding Dissertation at the upcoming AERA Annual Conference. Moreover, her dissertation received a runner-up distinction by the National Art Education Association for the Elliot Eisner Outstanding Dissertation Award at its recent New York conference held in early March, 2017. These are tremendous accomplishments and we wish to congratulate Dr. LeBlanc for her achievements!

The AERA ABER Award will be given at the Annual General Meeting of the ABER SIG where Dr. LeBlanc will also be an invited speaker. You are invited to attend on this AGM and event on Friday, April 28, 6:15 to 7:45pm, Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Meeting Room Level, Room 206 B.

Please also join me in congratulating her research supervisor Dr. Rita Irwin and committee members, Dr. Donal O’Donoghue, and Dr. Anne Phelan, all from EDCP.
