It is my great pleasure to inform you that Dr. Joy Butler was recently awarded a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the 6th International TGfU Conference in Cologne, Germany by the Teaching Games for Understanding SIG of The Association Internationale des Écoles Supérieures d’Éducation Physique (AIESEP). Joy was also invited to give the Plenary Opening Lecture at the conference.
The Teaching Games for Understanding SIG of AIESEP is a globally representative group of associations and individuals committed to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly inquiry concerning ways of knowing, learning and teaching through games centered approaches.
