Congratulations to Professor Stephen Petrina, recently elected to the office of Vice President of the Faculty Association of UBC. The FAUBC has about 5,000 members, including faculty and librarians. Professor Petrina previously served on the FAUBC as a Member-At-Large for four years and thus brings extensive experience to the office of VP. Professor Petrina is known to advocate for improvement of member services and contracts and we wish him the all best in this new responsibility and appointment for which he has been elected.
