Please join me in congratulating Dr. Nicole Lee, a recent EDCP PhD graduate, who has won the UBC Ted T. Aoki Award for Outstanding Dissertation in Curriculum Studies. It is so fitting for her work. Also, she is the lead editor for the recently published Routledge book “Lingering with the Works of Ted T. Aoki: Historical and Contemporary Significance for Curriculum Research and Practice” that focuses on Aoki’s work. Commendation to Professor Rita Irwin and the supervisory committee for mentoring Dr. Lee.
