We are pleased to announce that Dr. Cynthia Nicol has been appointed the David F. Robitaille Professor in Mathematics and Science Education for a three-year term (September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2020). The Robitaille Professorship was established under the leadership of Dean Nancy Sheehan — to honour former department Head of CUST/EDCP, David Robitaille — in support of the Faculty’s initiatives focusing on the application of technology in the teaching and learning of mathematics, science and technology education.
