Please join me in congratulating Peter Seixas whose work in the Historical Thinking Project has been used to frame the new Social Studies concept-based school curriculum. The curriculum is built around six disciplinary concepts that Peter and Tom Morton have put forward: significance, evidence, cause and consequence, continuity and change, perspectives, and ethical judgement. It is very gratifying to see the scholarly work of colleagues in EDCP playing such an influential role in the school curriculum of BC. Congratulations !
