Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to inform you that Kieran Forde, a first-year doctoral student in Curriculum Studies, is recently appointed as one of the two Provost Office Fellows in Online Learning.
As the Provost Office Fellow, Students, Kieran’s role will focus on:
- Ensuring student feedback is represented in preparation for summer/fall online instruction.
- Supporting activities to ensure graduate student TAs are prepared and supported for their roles in online instruction.
- Acting as liaison between student development and support planning activities in the VP Students portfolio, and academic and curriculum planning, in consultation with the VP Academic and Faculties.
- Working as part of the VP Academic planning team for fall instruction.
As announced in May, Kieran received the 2020 Faculty of Education’s Graduate Teaching Assistant Award. Both achievements are noteworthy!

Best, Samson.
