Dr. Sandra Scott’s Grant Awards

Dear Colleagues,

1. Dr. Sandra Scott has joined the UBC Sustainability Fellowship Program and received an Interdisciplinary Education two-year grant. Sandra will work with Dr. Lindsay Rogers (co-Lead) Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Douglas Adler (co-applicant), and Sayeed Dyanatkar (Collaborator), UBC Emerging Media Lab, on an immersive interactive media project “Climate Change Education through Immersive Media: Educating for Sustainability in Multi-Modal Ways”.

Congratulations Sandra and Doug and best wishes with your curriculum project!

ALSO:

2. Congratulations to Dr. Sandra Scott, Yvonne Dawydiak, and Dr. Douglas Adler for receiving a Digital Pedagogy Lab Grant from the Edith Lando Virtual Learning Centre. This $10,000 grant will fund the development and implementation of a webinar series focusing on the Salish Sea and climate and nature emergency. UBC and community educators making a difference through research and teaching will be featured in this virtual speaker series hosted by the UBC Intergenerational Landed Learning Project.
