On behalf of the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy and all the graduate students and faculty who were able to take part in the EGS-2022 conference last Friday,
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to all the Peer Advisors (Rodrigo Santos, Angela Baldus, Elmira Sarreshtehdari, and Laura Werbitsky) who organized and led such a successful event. The choice to make it both a face-to-face and an online event was wise, even if it was not easy to implement. But it worked! Our graduate students needed an opportunity to share research, meet each other, and be inspired. The EGS-2022 Conference met this need. This well-organized event was very timely! I realize that it takes time and effort to organize a successful conference, as well as troubleshoot any issues that might arise. Our Peer Advisors have done it successfully. I also would like to thank the faculty members who took the time to attend the conference and support our graduate students. Finally, Mr. Alan Jay is always there to support our graduate students. Many thanks to all of you.
I wish our graduate students continuous success in their studies and personal life.
