Film screening and discussion hosted by Dr. Peter Cole and Dr. Pat O’Riley to share some of the SSHRC-funded research with Kichwa-Lamista communities in the San Martin district of Peru (High Amazon) to support them in their cultural renewal and ecological sustainability. Royner Sangama Sangama, Kichwa-Lamista Research Assistant, who did the filming, and Huamani Orrego, translator, will be in attendance.
