Abstract:

This seminar will centre around three essential questions: What is educational justice? How is it achieved? Why is it still important? Drawing on her expertise, Dr. Sensoy will lead a discussion on how inequities are reproduced in social institutions such as schools, media, and policing, and we will identify constructive interventions to interrupt them. Participants will engage in a dialogue that fosters critical thinking about knowledge, pedagogical approaches, and political activism.
