Dr. Sandrine Han, Assistant Professor
“The visual culture of the virtual world is not an authentically reconstructed real world, but is a space containing worldwide mixed and ideal cultures from designers’ imaginations. There is nothing made by nature in a virtual world, and everything is made by its own residents. No matter what we see in virtual worlds, there IS a reason to be there.”
Research Interests:
Dr. Han’s research focuses on the visual culture and cultural studies, and on the integration of art education and educational technology specifically in virtual worlds.
