Daniel T. Barney (PhD, 2009) came to EDCP to study with its world-renowned art educators, but he also found curriculum scholars from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives who influenced and expanded his research. The freedom to explore emerging inquiry methodologies in relation to art and education remains a key focus of his current work (see danieltbarney.com).
Barney is an Associate Professor of Art Education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he teaches courses in theory, methodology, and practice within contemporary art and pedagogy.
